The first post that I have chosen from the Facebook page is the poste of the ILL Manors music video this is a good promotion of the film because it appeals to the fans of the music artist and then lets them know of his up coming film production this links to the target audience because his fan base is his solid followers and promotion for the film. The second post is a trailer of the film and this allows the solid fan base to promote the film through word of mouth and enable them to show their friends and create a bigger market and makes them excited and curious about the narrative of the film it makes them wonder. The third post allows the fans to show support and love towards the film at the same time promote the film other platforms of media such as DVD and Blu-Ray again making the fans feel part of the message being portrayed. The fourth post allows the target audience to find out more about the character they felt most attached to and gives them a chance to ask question up close and personal making the target feel special. Lastly this allows the target audience to find out about what buzz his music is creating whether it’s good or bad and this would receive a lot of attention because his primary solid fan base is from his music career.

4.The posters on the page is one of the synergys and this provides information about the film it shows two different formats of the poster with different aesthetics. Than there is he timeline image that promotes the films platforms such as DVD and encourages people to buy the film lastly the music videos show some scenes of the film and allow the fans to enjoy his music with some visual content that flows with the song.

Twitter

1.
the brand is shown throughout the twitter page from the background to the hashtag the all promote the ill manors brand by reenforcing this ideology of the strong mind and individuality and this is what intrigues the young people. also the background used on the page is the same the cover of the DVD and the poster and using the same image promotes the DVD and Blu-ray release at the present time at the time of the release it would be promoting the actual film release in the cinemas the wrapped building are apart of the branding because of its consistency throughout the media print promotion the background of the actual image presents the the audience with a set of enigma codes because they want to know why this setting is so significant to the film.

4.
the ill manors twitter feeds consist of still of the film and BTS of people on set and people just there that have been retweeted by the ill manors twitter page to give the audience a better insight of the progress and engage them more and some 'selfless' with actors from the film and this presents to the audience a likeable personality about them that make the audience more attached to them.

5.

the promotion company targets the right audience because of the use of graffiti in their work with is a
massive link to the gangster thug like culture that the audience share and relate with to the film and the audience is able to voice their opinions on specific matter the plan b mentions and this is what plan b wanted the audience to feel strong united but at the same time independent. another factor that may help this target the right audience is there previous issue with police and government as they project their political messages on landmarks of london such as the house of parliament and because of the the use of graffiti it is considered somewhat disrespectful and rebellious

6.

the first post show the self made hype that the ill manors institution has made to promote the film to the target audience and it show it excitement about the release date the influences the audience because of the use of capital letters and this also show the importance of this message. the second post regards the age certificate of the film officially labelling it an 18 plus film which may has put only a minority of people off from watching the film however this also may make the younger audience under 18 to watch it even more because it's wrong to do so and they are rebellious and the third posted show a link to the telegraph interview with actor musician and director of the film Ben Drew (Plan B) and in the written part of the post a written quote is referenced and this promotes the film as it presents a strong opinion

YouTube

1.
the change was use to promote the ill manors film by posting videos of the music videos of the sale from the sound track obviously massive connexion to the film and the trailer of the film which is a direct promotion to the film it also show the TagLondon campaign video and that also promotes the ill manors institution

2.
they cross promote the film by using music video for the singles of the soundtrack, the 'ILLManors' single is a more i direct promotion compared to the other because of the name unlike the the single from the same soundtrack/album 'Playing with fire' these music videos present the film in another perspective however sing the same concept of the grime uk thug theme.they tell a brief synopsis in the music which is very cleaver because it engages th audience and certain lyrics may make the audience really want to watch the film and may excite them a lot.

Tag London Campaign

The Ill manors Tag London Campaign was an innovative and original idea by the institution, which allowed the fans and the target audience to become a part of the campaign by using social websites like twitter to comment on the film and its content and these tweets were then projected on landmarks. This is an example of User Generated Content (UGC) this made the tweeter feel important to the ILL Manors and Plan B brand. Also, they had turned the comments that had been found into graffiti and this appealed to the target audience because it something they’re comfortable with.
Tag London Campaign promoted the film by using a style that appeals to the young generation or the adults that had grown in an environment that is similar to the style that is projected to the target audience. Using graffiti they were able to do this successfully and using the Landmarks of London made this a stronger message as the message of ILL Manor is slightly against the government and using landmarks such as the house of parliament
One link that I have found it the TEDxLecture and the messages that have been provided in this promotion have a massive similarity in terms of the meaning that is being put across to the parliament because they both talk about how them as youth need to stand up together and do something about the corruption by the government for ourselves and change the stereotypical ideology that has been given to them

These types of campaign are more successful because word of mouth plays as massive part in the users input and because of the originality the word of mouth spreads quickly and because of the mass amounts of link to them and thing that would appeal to them like the graffiti it makes them feel comfortable with the campaign because it all the youth know so the feel at home with the idea and message that is being put across more.

#ILLMANORS JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF CAMERON'S BROKEN BRITAIN

This tweet would appeal to the demographic E&D as they are the poorer group and would look down on people that earn a lot of money by working and educating themselves and psychographic would appeal to the strugglers. This comment would link to the music video that had been produced by Plan B because it portrays the same message approaching the same individual.

#ILLMANORS YOU CAN'T EAT MONEY...BUT YOU CAN EAT THE RICH

This would also appeal to demographic groups E&D and the psychographic group strugglers as it again portrays a message to the wealthy and the politicians because they are known to do nothing and get paid a lot and example that backs up this is when David Cameron proceeded to go on holiday with his family during the riots of the summer of 2011. This would also link to the music video particularly the line, “Oi what you lookin’ at, you little rich boy”.

#ILLMANORS THE WORSHIP AND MONEY MERGED ALL COLOURS AND CREED, INTO ONE TRUE RELIGION THAT WAS DRIVEN BY GREED @4PLANB

This would appeal to the demographic groups of E&D because these group are mostly fans of his music and this tweet is a lyrical reference to his song from the ILL Manors Album. He psychographic group that this would stand out to is the strugglers as the lyric speaks against the greedy and rich and this is ideal for this groups because they don’t appreciate them and their ways.

LONDON IS CALLING, THE CITY IS CRUMBLING #ILLMANORS.

Although this would also appeal to the demographic group E&D an psychographic group of strugglers it would be more appreciated by the younger male audience as it give of a ruthless revolutionary vibe.

AND BY THAT I MEAN, IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO CHANGE YOU HAVE TO START WITH THE MORAL HIGH GROUND AND NEVER GIVE IN. #ILLMANORS#

E,D and possibly C2 and strugglers again fall into this category of tweets but this would appeal to the young adults in the process of education possibly in University, as they are the next gen to possibly change the world.

ILL Manors Official Website

1. the film uses several way of promotion firstly, it's links to other sections of the website such as the trailer this allows the viewer to see the film trailer and form an opinion about it this then link to the promotion through social media which is a new and innovative way of promotion the opinion that they have formed allows the user of the website to post their opinion on Twitter and using a hash tag it groups these comments based on content (what it's about) - ILL Manors. when on the page, looking at the actors in the film, the first person seen is Riz Ahmed a well established actor know for hit comedies such as '4 Lions' and this also is a for of promotion as it allows the target audience to further identify with the film and the about. other social media links of the page include Facebook and this allows the user to like their Facebook page. The page promotes it self by using production companies at the bottom such as Revolver which is well known and have previously been known to produce good films also the have used Paramount Picture and a distributor and this too is a promotion because the company is a world renowned production and distribution company.

2. some examples of branding that can be found are the hashtag that Tag London used to receive comment to project on to London landmarks, another being the stylization of the title 'ILL Manors' this significant to the film because of it's resemblance, representation and because of how simple but unique it is also the way Plan B is stylized along the bottom this allows the fans of the artist to identify with the possible concept of the film. another example of branding found on the website it the logos of the social websites- Facebook and twitter

3. the website displays link to the social websites for likes on Facebook and for follow and public interaction on twitter as it was the main social website that promoted the film it help tag london to promote the film. it also provides links to other areas of the official website such as the viewing of the trailer, synopsis, about Plan B, Stills from the film, youTube links for extras, buy now and reaction/reviews from other media institutions.

4. on the website in the distance a large billboard can be seen discreetly further promoting the film in the films universe and further towards the right side of the site posters of Ben Drew can be seen wheat pasted on the wall as well as another poster for the ill manors film. and further than that is more poster of ill manors wheat pasted on a fence. the site also uses scenes from the film to give a slight insight of the narrative for example the man tied to a pole and the male being striped for his clothes.

5. this official websites has several ways to access the social websites on Facebook and twitter and this is due to its importance to the promotion and therefore by repeating the social media pop ups it encourages the viewer to go on the platform and share (promote) the film,

1. Men's Health, Q Magazine, The Guardian and Shortlist all have the say features that show that they from print media as they all have used question and Answer to provide an insight of the film all from different aspects example, Men's Health focuses on the weight lose of Ben Drew, his fitness regime and confidence building on the other hand the Guardian focuses on his past as a child and his view on socialism, consumerism and in general being a role model. They contain quotes and answers by him.

2. the entertainment of some of the interviews are consistent such as the shortlist interview the was constant use of humour and jokes for example the reference to the olympic volley ball sport was a small joke within the interview to liven it up however again using the guardian as an example although informative the entertainment was only for political supporters and hardcore fan base that willing to read through it with out caring for any entertainment. the reason the Q magazine is to me personally considered entertaining is because it was short and sweet (to the point).

3. 3 out of 4 doesn't however the 4th by Q magazine does as it allow the viewer to view videos filmed by the magzines red carpet interviewer.

4. The magazines all have mens health use central image and speech from the artist being interviewed these are perfect examples of codes and conventions of a magazine interview including the headings and subheading which are all included by each magazines interview. a prime convention of the Q magazine is the Q and A.

5.

6. for the mens health magazine the synergy between it and the TED X Lecture has a strong link as in these two text he is portrayed as elegant classy man which he isn't, in the magazines he wheres a suit to ultimately portray this idea of him and in the lecture he tries to speak using sophisticated words and this is what shows what allows the two lectures to link. another synergy link is between the TED X Lecture and the Guardian as the two media forms cross cover some aspects of his film and his political view o how the children of this era is being brought up this is the main cross over in the two media forms
